Center Grove vs. Carmel in Football Tonight

HomeTown and Channel 40 are teaming up to bring you the Center Grove vs. Carmel football game of the week tonight...airing at 10:30pm on channel 40. The game replays Saturday morning at 9am and Monday at 7pm on Channel 19.

More Schedule Changes

We will not be showing the MCFL S. Michigan vs. Indiana game Saturday at 7pm as originally scheduled. Instead, we'll have live audio of the Heights vs. Sheridan football Game. The MCFL game will be replayed Monday at 3pm and 7pm. Also, the boys/girls Noblesville vs. Carmel soccer games have been cancelled by the school due to field conditions and will not air this week. We will review the rescheduling of these games when the dates are set.

TV Coverage of HSE vs. Fishers Cancelled

HomeTown and Channel 40 will not be covering the HSE vs. Fishers football game upon it's resumption on Saturday. Scheduling conflicts prevent the crew from reassembling for the game. We apologize.

Hometown Sports and hoosierauthority.com will be producing the hoosierauthority.com high school sports show. Host Chris May interviews guests, goes over stats, rankings and highlights. The show airs on the Skytrak Weather Network on Thursday at 6pm and on channel 19 Thursday at 8:30pm.

Cathedral Irish Volleyball


HomeTown Sports will be covering the Cathedral Irish volleyball team as they host Munice Burris on Wednesday, August 22nd. The match airs on channel 19 the following day at 12n, 4p and 8p and again on the Skytrak Weather Network, Saturday at 8p.

The New Pressbox at Hare Chevrolet Field


The top half of the new double decker press box was set at Hare Chevrolet Field on Friday August 10th. The new box has more than twice the space of the orginal...and is air conditioned!

HomeTown Sports at the Colt World Series

HomeTown Sports produced the opening and championship games of the 2007 Colt World Series at historic Loeb Stadium in Lafayette. Joining producer Rick Vanderwielen are Color Analyst Tony Oilar and play-by-play announcer Larry Clisby. The director for game was Allan Hughes. Cameramen were Eric Eilers, Roy Johnson, Jack Johnson, Brad Silbert and 'the pro', Brent Vanderwielen.
