HomeTown & IHSAAsports.org to Team for Basketball State Championships

HomeTown Sports will produce the 2008 Boys and Girls IHSAA Basketball State Championships partnering with IHSAAsports.org. Viewers can tune into these live webcasts from Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. There is no charge. The girls games air 3/1 and boys play on 3/22.

Friday:  IHSAA Boys Basketball - Northwestern vs Tipton
14-0 Tipton hosts 12-1 Northwestern in the clash of the weekend.  Join Jan and Dan call the action with the replay scheduled for 10:30pm on both Hamilton and Tipton channel 19s.  Plus, catch this game on the Skytrak Weather Network at 8pm on Saturday night.

HomeTown Staying on Comcast 19

HomeTown Television, Comcast channel 19 in Hamilton County will continue for the foreseeable future on the cable system's basic channel line-up.  "Our meeting with Comcast was productive and we believe this is a win-win situation for our viewers and their subscribers", comments Rick Vanderwielen, President of HomeTown.  "Our model of providing community based television in the private sector has worked well for nearly 6 years and we look forward to remaining Hamilton Counties source for local origination content."  HomeTown Television is a private for profit content provider covering local sports, civic council meetings, parades and events.  HomeTown Sports produces over 100 high school and collegiate games yealy, including several IHSAA championship events and airs them on various systems and stations state-wide.

HomeTown Sports has made a schedule change and will now be covering the Friday, 2/1 contest between #1 - 2A Tipton vs #1 - 3A Northwestern. This game will be our state-wide game of the week, but our carrier is being selected.

HomeTown Television will air the January 22nd meeting of the Fishers Town Council Live.  Air time is scheduled for 7pm and will conclude at 8:30pm.  Viewers without cable can watch on one of our internet streams or via the Fishers Town web site.
